This notice is not current.

The previous warrant-canary update was published on 11 February 2026 and was scheduled for renewal on 11 May 2026. Because that date passed without a verified update, ZeroLatch does not present the canary as active.

What this means

Do not use this page as evidence that ZeroLatch has received no government or legal requests. A future canary should only be shown as active when it is current, independently reviewed, and backed by a verifiable signature.

Encryption scope still matters

Private deliveries use a recovery code that ZeroLatch does not store. Simple deliveries use managed recovery, so an authorized application service can technically recover their content key. Neither mode should be described as universally zero-knowledge.
