Important Notice

ZeroLatch is a secure data delivery service. It is NOT a legal substitute for a Last Will and Testament, trust, power of attorney, or any other legal instrument.

1. Not Legal Advice

Nothing on this website or in the ZeroLatch service constitutes legal advice. We are a technology company providing encrypted file storage and automated delivery, not a law firm. For estate planning, inheritance, or other legal matters, consult a qualified solicitor or attorney in your jurisdiction.

2. No Guarantee of Delivery

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure reliable operation, ZeroLatch cannot guarantee that a delivery will always succeed. Email delivery depends on third-party providers, recipient email server availability, and other factors outside our control. Critical information should have redundant delivery mechanisms.

3. Encryption Responsibility

Private mode recovery codes cannot be recovered by ZeroLatch. If you choose Private mode, it is your sole responsibility to store the code safely and ensure the intended recipient can access it. Simple mode uses a managed release key and does not require an extra encryption password.

4. Jurisdiction

ZeroLatch operates globally. Users are responsible for compliance with their local laws regarding encrypted communications, data storage, and digital inheritance. Some jurisdictions may have specific regulations regarding automated future-delivery services.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not use ZeroLatch to store or distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction. While we cannot inspect encrypted content, we reserve the right to terminate accounts if we become aware of illegal use.
