Immediate care: number/type of pets, feeding schedule, medications. Veterinary: vet contact, medical history, vaccinations. Long-term: who has agreed to take each pet, backup caregivers, financial provisions. Practical: carrier location, microchip info, house entry instructions.

Configuration

Recipient: a nearby friend or neighbor. Interval: 2-3 days. Cover message: "If receiving this, please check on my pets immediately at [address]." This is one of the most emotionally important uses of a dead man's switch.
